Why are so many men facing
prostate problems and “ED”?
Prostate issues have two main sources –
chemical imbalances or hormone imbalances. And to complicate it even
more – these two reasons can be intertwined.
Men, even though viral and strong, often forget
the needs of their body chemistry.
Stress, both physical and mental, affects the body chemistry.
First, I see an increase in sugars and caffeine. The diet begins to
waiver toward more fast food or even skipping meals. The annual
stress test becomes more of an issue and easier to put off. Then the
cholesterol begins to get out of range and even sugars rise out of
the normal range. None of this really seems important until that one
intimate moment when things no longer work as they should.
With lots of new drugs being introduced to
“give you back your intimate moments”, I want to stress to each and
every man that you should without hesitation see your medical doctor
for a full checkup before trying anything pharmaceutical or over the
counter medication. Eliminate the possibility of prostate cancer and
then work to regain your virile masculine self.
Start by following these steps:
-
Talk with your spouse, health practitioner, or nutritional
councilor to make sure your environment is healthy in
Xenoestrogens and food source estrogenics. Estrogens in
excess in your lifestyle create problems for your personal
hormone balances. Xenoestrogens are found in cosmetics, hair
color, topical skin applications like lotions, laundry products,
cleaning products and more. Start reading your food labels for
estrogenic sources like soy and eliminate as many of these as
possible.
-
Control your sugar intake. Read your labels and be aware of the
amount of sugar and carbohydrates (which convert quickly to
sugar in the body). Even fruit in excess becomes unhealthy.
Fruit should always be eaten by itself on an empty stomach. Your
insulin balances are delicate and the introduction of excesses
of sugar through your foods is very disruptive to your body
balances.
-
Control your cholesterol levels. Fats put men at risk for poor
prostate health. Make healthy food choices. Increase your fresh
or steamed vegetables and salads to make them as least 60% of
your daily diet. Limit your intake of red meats to two times
weekly at the most.
-
Include healthy fiber in your diet by using whole grains, flax
meal (at least 2 Tablespoons daily), and Salba (at least 2
Tablespoons daily).
-
Avoid
refined foods.
-
Avoid sodas, liquor, beer and tobacco. These can be dangerous
habits.
Treat you body well – it is the only one you will ever have.
Balance life with work, play, exercise, prayer and good rest.
