Services: What to Expect

When you consult a naturopath, you will find a person committed to the holistic approach to health. The practitioner will first gather a medical history, inquire about your diet, discuss any stress you are experiencing, and give non-invasive tests designed to evaluate body conditions and advise you concerning your condition.

This process may take two appointments, separated by the time it takes to do a comprehensive workup on you as an individual. No two individuals are the same, so your treatment will be designed specifically for you!

You will experience techniques and get healthy tools which are consistent with traditional naturopathy and its philosophy. These will enable your body to correct problems now and prevent them from occurring in the future.

The Appointment Process

Consultation and planning take place on your first appointment, except for when additional tests are determined to be needed. During this time, you will make your decision if you are ready for a new and better life. The floor plan will be yours to keep, even if you choose to delay your wellness program. If you choose to proceed, you may see changes within days with more over the next weeks and months. Simple changes can bring amazing benefits, but only you can make those changes!

Problems that have been with you for a very long time will be the last to resolve. We will work with your entire being—body, mind, and spirit. Monthly appointments will be necessary to monitor progress and make any necessary changes as your body responds. Be sure to ask about phone appointments and email which are options after the initial protocols are established. It will be teamwork!

Testing

I use EAV (Electro-Acupuncture) Testing  to simplify your health choices and help you perfect meeting your body's individual needs. This is an "Energetic" test which is the unseen component of all our organs, glands, and systems--the functions that are not physical or chemical in nature, but energetic. (See more details on the Naturopathy page.) Supplements and medications can be tested to assess how your body is working with them. One hour of testing (40-point protocol) starts at $210.

Our office entrance is shown on the left. The equipment on the right is for EAV testing.

Additional services include Male and Female Hormone Testing, Adrenal Stress Testing, Hair Analysis, Blood Chemistry Panels, Allergy Testing, and Saliva Testing.

Feel free to look at these brochures which give more information about my services and philosophy:

Fees and Insurance

Supplements and additional tests are not included in office visit pricing. On some occasions, lab tests may be needed for very specific assessments. Most insurances do not cover Naturopathic procedures. We believe your health is the most important thing in your life. If these services sound like what you have been looking for and you have questions regarding procedures, supplements, or costs, please feel free to ask us! You may qualify for case studies or fee adjustments.

Fee Schedule

Our bodies are amazing in their ability to heal themselves. In a lifetime bombarded with chemicals and stress, many are choosing a better pathway. By learning the body's needs and addressing all parts of the human—body, mind, and spirit—one can open nature's lost secret of well-being. Naturopathy is a simple and compassionate modality for health; however, no single modality works for every person. Naturopathy is a choice—won't you join me?

Wishing you wellness always,

Joan Goodman, CTN, MH
